Robert Lin Blackett

Lin passed away quietly at his home in New Smyrna Beach, FL with his loving Carol Harndon watching over him.

Born and raised in Spanish Fork, Utah by his parents William (Bob) and Mae who instilled a sense of hard work and honor in him.

He enlisted in the USMC in 1970 and was a grunt for 4 years with time in Vietnam and Okinawa. He will always remain a Marine. Semper Fi.

Upon his return home he married Rita Vogel in 1977 and together they produced 4 wonderful, strong willed children.

Lin worked for the enemy Comcast for 20 years where he would eventually retire from and enjoy the easy life, moving to Florida and becoming the quintessential "Florida Man".

He is Survived by his 4 children and 3 grand children ; Anthony "Tony"(Haley) Grayce and Keenan; Robin Blackett Farrish (Jason) William "Will";

Andrea Blackett ; Lara Blackett; as well as siblings Liz, Susan, Phillip, Jerry and many close and loving family and friends who will miss him dearly.

His parents Bob and Mae as well as brother Bill precede him in death.
