Bob Hooker was born and raised in Orlando. After attending high school at Edgewater High he then went off to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University for a year before joining the Air Force. Bob then dedicated four years to serving his country in Vietnam as an airplane mechanic. After completing his military duty he went on to obtain his bachelor's degree at UCF formerly Florida Technical University. Some years later Bob married Marti a single mother of two. He quickly made an impact on his young daughters lives and was never thought of as a stepfather, simply Dad. As a father Bob taught his daughters and grandchildren how to be empathetic to others needs, how to be supportive and how to love. He was truly one of the most generous men you could ever hope to meet, a blessed soul, who was loved by all that he knew. As a friend there was nothing Bob wouldn't do for you. Bob treasured his friendships so much and we all treasured that contagious laugh. He touched so many lives and will  truly be missed by everyone that knew and loved him. We will all mourn the loss of such a great man. It is now time to celebrate his life and pass on his memory through love.
