Robert A. Capps

Bob Capps lived for 74 years and passed away Sunday February 21, 2016.  He was born in Chicago and proudly served in the US Navy from 1959-1963. After the Navy he was an officer with the Kenilworth, IL Police Department for 22 years. He moved with his wife, Pat, from Grayslake, Illinois to the Villages 12 years ago. Bob loved every day in The Villages. He started and operated his own business, "Bob's House Watch" for 8 years. His clients appreciated his loyal, trusted service and attention to detail.

Bob loved playing golf with his buddies, Ken, Ron, and Vic.  He also enjoyed listening to music with his wife Pat and their little white dog Polly and friends at Lake Sumter Landing almost every day. Bob is survived by his wife, Pat Cavanagh Capps and six children: Julie, Jenny, Katie, Tom, Patty, and Colleen, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by his younger friend, Phil Brunell, whom he loved like a son.
