Robert E. Caudell, 93, of Lake Helen, Fl. passed into the loving arms of his Savior on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.  He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 11, 1932 to William L Caudell and Marie J (Mueller) Caudell.

Bob loved Jesus from a young age and was involved for most of his adult life in the Church of the Nazarene – first in Indianapolis, Indiana as well as later after moving to Florida at The Deland Church of the Nazarene. When he was very young he and his parents and siblings played and sang at various churches in the Indianapolis area.  Later he was involved in the music ministry of the church, playing the trumpet, leading the choir and various singing groups.

One person who sang with him frequently was his dear wife Vonda. They had a full and vibrant life together. Bob built and flew airplanes along with his wife.  They rode motorcycles, enjoyed water craft and even taught many nieces and nephews the sport of waterskiing.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Vonda, his parents, as well as brother Lester Caudell, sisters M Rosemary Caudell Kilwy, and Ruth Caudell Pittenger.

Surviving are his sister Wilma Jean Caudell Rascher and twelve nieces and nephews.
