Robert "Bob" Albert Cornelius, 86, of Leesburg, FL passed away Sunday February 2, 2025.  Bob was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 18, 1938 to Albert and Clara Cornelius.  Bob was a washer and dryer repairman by trade most of his life after working on Jet engines in the Air Force. Bob enjoyed traveling, dancing with his wife Carol, karaoke, cards, bingo and all games of chance.  Bob was a member of AM Vets, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church  and St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Laurie Goloversic (Joseph) of Clermont, FL and Melissa Jones (Dax) also of Clermont, FL; granddaughter, Lynsey Hazzard (Ryan Vranesevich) great grandchildren Skylar, Savannah and Jace of Groveland, FL; niece Caryl McGowan of N Hollywood, CA; brother-in-law Robert Leonard Tobyhanna, PA and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.  Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife Carol of 54 years, as well as his parents and older brother John.    A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 720 12 ^th Street Clermont, FL 34711 followed by a luncheon in the social hall.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the National Kidney Foundation.  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations 1350 E.
