Robert L. Cothran, 66, of Daytona Beach, Florida passed away on December 21, 2016 at his residence. He was born on May 24, 1950 in Marietta, South Carolina to the late Walter and Geneva (Duncan) Cothran. Robert was a Veteran of the United States Army and he enjoyed golfing, racing, kayaking, camping, fishing, and playing pool. He also enjoyed motorcycle riding, and participating in benefit runs for charity. Robert was also a member of a Gospel Quartet for 7 years. He worked as a Manufacturing Manager for Crane Cams and he was also a Professor at Daytona State College. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Cothran; his sister, Evelyn Ligon; his son, Joey Cothran; his daughter, Amy Morrow; his daughter, Rebekah Medeiros; and his 13 grandchildren, Trevor, Grant, Emil,y Caleb, Jordan, Josie, Eden, Luke, Seth, Eve, Lydia, Ethan, and Katie. Arrangements are under the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, Port Orange, Florida.
