Robert Raymond Dorris, Jr., 71, of Dunnellon, FL passed away December 6, 2016.  Born in Tacoma, WA he came to this area in 1998 from Miami, FL.  He was a US Coast Guard Veteran and retired from the telecommunications industry.  Robert enjoyed sailing, playing guitar and listening to music.  He is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Christopher Dorris of Everett, WA, Kim Dorris Lewis (Daniel) of Ocala, FL, Jennifer White (Aaron) of Atlanta, GA and Tim Dorris (Renee) of Brooklyn, NY; sisters, Martha Doris of Kansas City, MO and Laurie Dorris of Cashiers, NC; grandchildren, Austin Lee Ford and Harper Jean Dorris and great granddaughter, Ema Lee Ford.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald and Scott Dorris.  He will be interred with Military Honors at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL on Friday, Dec. 16th at 11AM.  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremation 954 E.
