Robert S. Frodsham, 75, of Ocala, FL and formerly Ashley, PA, passed away on Friday, March 26th 2021 following a brief illness. Bob was born in Westchester County, NY on January 12th, 1946. After graduating from Madison High School in Madison, FL, Bob studied at NYU, graduating with a major in English and a minor in Economics. He would later complete all coursework toward a master's degree in Finance from Pace University. While at NYU, Bob was a member of the Zeta Psi fraternity where he forged lifelong friendships that endured through his final days. After teaching English in Madison, Bob worked as a loan officer in New York City and later the Wilkes-Barre, PA area. He finished his career selling commercial real estate for Mericle in Northeast Pennsylvania before retiring to Florida. Throughout his career, Bob was active in his local Kiwanis club and other charitable efforts. Bob enjoyed airplanes, antique cars, and time spent with fellow enthusiasts of the same. He possessed a sharp wit, a firm command of language, and an encyclopedic knowledge of trivia. Bob was tremendously proud of his sons and their families, counting them as both his greatest blessings and finest accomplishments. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 30 plus years, Patricia Dougherty Frodsham; sons, Steven (Becky) Frodsham of Yorktown, VA and David (Kelly) Frodsham of Hobe Sound, FL; sister Diane and brother Richard, each of Ocala, FL; grandchildren Ava, Anna, Jack, Cassie & Everett; stepson Michael Dougherty of Ashley, PA; five nieces; and numerous special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Allan & Mrs. Elizabeth Frodsham as well as his stepson Brian Dougherty. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at the Baldwin Brothers Timber Ridge Facility located at 11250 SW 93rd Court Rd., Suite #300, Ocala, FL 34481 on April 10th at 2:00pm. A catered meal will be provided at Marcelina's Restaurant, at 8810 SR-200E, Ocala, FL 34481, beginning at 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to a charitable organization of your choosing, in honor of Bob.
