Robert "Bob" Garvey, 83, of The Villages, FL passed away Monday, August 30, 2021.  Robert was born in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, on July 15, 1938.

Bob served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1956-1977.  Upon discharge, Bob made a career at the United States Post Office and Florida Sheriff's Department.

Bob is survived by his wife, Doris Thomas; son Robert Garvey; step children, Wanda and Jan Kuha, Joanne and Wayne Thomas, Francine and Bernard Lucier and Randy Thomas and a sister, Helen Cotter.  Bob also had 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Bob and Doris enjoyed many years as golf partners and won several golf tournaments together.  He loved his family and golf.  Bob was a computer enthusiast and was the first to purchase the newest and fastest electronic gadgets available on the market.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 11 am.  Online condolences may be said at www.baldwincremation.com .
