Robert E. Goodwin (Bob), 83 passed away peacefully on May 31, 2023 in at Hospice House Healthpark in Fort Myers, FL. Born February 10, 1940 in Chattanooga, TN, he was the son of the late Eugene Goodwin and Claire Fruedenberg. He was a graduate of University of Tennessee, Knoxville and retired from Dupont.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Bob leaves behind a son Rob Goodwin Jr., and his wife Lynne Goodwin of Higganum, CT and four grandchildren, Parker Goodwin, Tyler Goodwin, Jamie Little and Megan Little. He is also survived by a brother, David Goodwin of Columbia, SC. He was predeceased by his wife, Jane Goodwin, of over 50 years. The burial service will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Robert Goodwin's name be made directly to Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
