Obituary

Robert J. Hulihan beloved husband, son, stepdad and brother passed quietly in his sleep at age 65 on March 21, 2020 in his home after a short illness.

Bob or Huli as he was affectionatly called by his family and friends had a unique form of humor and a wonderful smile which he would greet everyone with that he knew and met.

Bob was born in the Bronx, NY and at a very young age moved to West Haven, CT where he attended St. Louis Elementary and graduated from Notre Dame High School.  He attended the University of New Haven but chose his lifes career with the railroad where he worked until his retirement in 2017.  He moved to several different places in his career including CT, MA, NY, PA,  and GA.  He moved one more time to Summerfield, FL for his retirement years.  Bob enjoyed life and loved his family and friends.  He, with his "buddies" and long time friends started a band called the Cargo of Despair which he was a member of for almost 30 years until it disbanded.  Bob loved his music and art.  He was a movie buff and avid reader of all types of books and literature.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Mary Costello Hulihan of 27 years; mother, Virginia "Ginny" Hulihan; sister, Eileen Hulihan Young; brother, Charles (Theresa) Hulihan and two stepchildren, Patricia Rosato and Marty (Kristi) Rosato.

Due to present circumstances services for a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers donations should be made in his name to Hospice of Marion County.  Online condolences may be said at www.baldwincremation.com.
