Robert Ives "Bob" Hoffman, 87, passed away at home on July 30, 2023, after a short struggle with cancer.  He was born December 11, 1935, in Chester, PA, son of Margaret Ives and John Hoffman.  He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brooke.

A graduate of West Chester State University and Villanova University, Robert is a Marine Corps Captain (Retired) and is a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, during which he served as company commander.

Robert's experience in the Marines and subsequently the Marine Corps League, Reserve Offices Association, and other volunteer organizations including Kiwanis, played a very important role in his life.

He is survived by his sons Jeffrey, Rodger (and Wendi), and Scott Hoffman, and granddaughters Margaret and Chloe.

Memorial Services will be Tuesday, August 8, 1030, at Faith Lutheran Church, 4150 Goodlette-Frank Rd, Naples, FL 34103.

He will be laid to rest Thursday, August 10, 1300, at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241, Columbarium, Set D, Wall 4, Row B, Site 3.
