It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Robert M. Johnson, age 83 of The Villages, FL, formerly of Lothian, MD.

Bob was born on August 26, 1941, Arlington, VA and entered eternal rest on April 4, 2025, The Villages, FL.

Bob is survived by sister Catherine Marie Coleman; and numerous nieces; and nephews; as well as great; and great-great nieces; and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Mary Elizabeth Johnson; and brothers, Ralph and James Johnson.

Bob spent a long career with the Census Bureau.  He enjoyed attending family events, where his stories, anecdotes and wicked sense of humor were appreciated by all.

Bob's passion was music.  He played the guitar and banjo and toured around with his friend Mario, performing for various audiences.  He also produced several records in the 1970's.

He loved cars, especially Corvettes, and he owned various ones during his life. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching animal rescue videos, and documentaries.  Bob had a kind heart and was very generous.  He will be dearly missed by all.
