Robert Eugene Kegg, Jr, 79, of The Villages, FL, passed away on March 11, 2025, surrounded by the love and comfort of his devoted and loving wife. Robert was born August 6, 1945 in Uniontown, PA, the son of Robert Kegg Sr and Margaret Gaskill Kegg. Robert graduated from Clare High School in 1963, then went on to Central Michigan University, earning a bachelor's degree in business. Robert retired from Eaton Corporation in 2005 after many years as a distinguished purchasing manager. His profession allowed him to travel and see many parts of the world. Robert, an avid U of M fan, especially loved sports, golf, fishing, and playing cards. Robert married Carol Ann Poeppelman on June 25, 1966 in Clare, MI. They had been married for 58 years. They created a loving family with their 3 daughters, Pamela Jean Richardson, Barbara Ann Wykes, and Jamie Lynn Patton. Their family has grown to include several grandchildren (Aaron, Allyssa, Erica, Logan, Colin, Emma, Connor, Landon, and Brooklyn) and great grandchildren (Makenzie, Ezekiel, Memphis, Zayne, Jaxon, and Beckham). Also remaining to cherish Robert's name are his sister, Donna Fron, and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. Preceding Robert in death are both of his parents and brother, John Kegg.

Mass of Christian burial will be held April 12, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Parish Church in Marshall, MI, with Father Craig Lusk officiating. Internment will take place in Oakridge Cemetery in Marshall, MI. Reception will immediately follow.
