Robert A. Labbe (Bob), 83, of Mt. Dora, Florida, died peacefully Tuesday,

September 6, 2016.   He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Westfort Labbe for 63 years.

Born in Meriden, CT, May 2, 1933, he was the son of the late Arthur and Yvonne Labbe.  He was a lifelong resident of Meriden, and moved to Florida in 2004. He was employed at the former International Silver Company for 45 years as a Supervisor.  After his retirement, he enjoyed traveling cross country in their RV, cruised to Europe and the Caribbean. He was active in his retirement community, and loved to golf and play water volleyball.

Bob is also survived by his daughters, Cynthia Kennedy (Michael),

Cheryl Sears (John) and Carol Donath (Rodney).  He leaves 6 grandchildren: Erin Chiz,

Brian Kennedy, Lindsey and Jaclyn Sears, Kaitlyn Christoforo and Rachel Zajac.  He also leaves

5 great grandchildren and his beloved dog Gracie.

Bob was predeceased by his brother, Donald.

A memorial service will be held in Connecticut at a later date.
