On Wednesday, November 13, 2019, Robert Lush passed away at the age of 66 after a long battle of cancer.   Robert was born in Washington D.C. on May 17, 1953.  He retired April 2010 from the Maryland National Capitol Park and Planning Commission and moved to Florida in 2011.  Robert, better known by his friends and family as Bob, had a passion for collecting vintage items but his biggest passion and idol was John Wayne.  Because he dressed in Western style all his life, he was well known as The Duke of Ocala in Florida and Cowboy Bob in Maryland.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Gordon; mother, Millie; and step-daughter, Janice.   He is survived by his wife, Dianna; step son; Douglas; a brother, James; a sister, Donna; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren;  and several nieces and nephews.

Instead of funeral services there will be a Celebration of his Life on Friday, December 6, 2019 at the Mojo's Bar and Grill located at 4620 East Silvers Springs Blvd, Ocala, Florida beginning at Noon.
