Robert "Bob" Alan Metzler, 70, of Mount Dora passed away on June 16, 2020.  He was born in Queens, NY on April 4, 1950.  Bob served his country in the United States Air Force from 1970-1974.  He worked for Petro Heating and Air Conditioning while living in New York and after moving to Florida he worked for Hospice.  Bob was married to his wife, Joan Metzler, for 27 years.  He belonged to Meadowbrook Church for 14 years. In his free time he enjoyed playing Golf.  He was a good Husband and Father who was loving, funny, and caring.

Bob is survived by his wife Joan; 8 children; and 12 grandchildren.
