Obituary

Robert "Bob" Murray Logan passed away with family by his side on Monday, March 24, at the age of 77. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson Logan and Eve Dushan and his brother, Jimmy.

He is survived by his wife Karen of 54 years, the love of his life; daughters Janet (Keith) and Wendy (Todd); grandchildren Logan, Katelyn, Kevin, Taylor, Sydney, Aaron, and Zoe; sisters Barbara, Diane, Sandra, Carol, and Suzie.

He was born in Flint, Michigan, on March 27, 1947. He served in and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps. He graduated from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, Wisconsin. He became Senior Pastor at Westside Baptist Church in Janesville, Wisconsin, in 1976 and pastored there for 41 years before retiring in 2017. After retirement, Bob and Karen moved from their home in Janesville to spend summers in South Branch, Michigan, and winters in Leesburg, Florida. He liked to walk on the beach and in the arboretum. He memorized entire books of the Bible, was passionate about his relationship with the Lord and sharing the good news of the Bible with others. He was also an excellent pool player and enjoyed playing pool with his friends in Leesburg. Above everything else, he was always THANKFUL .

A Memorial Service is scheduled at Westside Baptist Church in Janesville, Wisconsin, on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 2 p.m. The family is requesting no flowers or gifts.
