Robert T. Oxford, 60, of Ocala passed away April 3, 2017.  Born in Birmingham, AL, he came to this area 26 years ago from Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  He was an electronics technician for the US Navy and was disabled from the Navy due to a diving accident and was quadriplegic for 30 years.  Robert was also a member of Ocala West United Methodist Church and is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Carol; sons, Eric C. Oxford (Cathy) of Ocala and Jon D. Oxford (April) of Cocoa, FL; daughter, Janis E. Oxford of Williston; mother, Betty Oxford of Ocala; brother, Mark Oxford of Dunnellon; sister, Kay Leuang of Vermont; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America 800-555-9140 or www.pva.org .  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations, 954 E.
