His family shares many cherished memories with him and provided unwavering support throughout his life.

He is predeceased by his brothers Fred Pierce and John Pierce and his daughter, Laura Pierce.

On July 2, 1977, Bob married the love of his life, Donna, and besides sharing a special connection, everyday he would say, "it's you and me baby". Donna loved his striking blue eyes, his gentle loving touch, his infectious laugh as they embarked on a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures. Treasured were their travels to a B&B in The White Mountains of New Hampshire, cruising, Disney, Hawaii, Alaska, Ireland, Italy, Paris and multiple trips to England to visit their 30-year friends, Joan and Keith who we met while cruising.

Bob was a wonderful friend to many, he loved to talk to everyone. Bob kept in touch with those from his high school, especially his close friend, Francine Mello.

After graduation Bob followed in his father's career at the Middlesex County Sheriff's Department until his retirement in 2007. Bob maintained close friendships with his coworkers, especially Sheriff Peter Koutoujian and Special Sheriff Amo Cefalo.

Bob's hobbies included model railroading for 70 years. He constructed an amazing model railroad over the span of 30 years, with the help of his equally talented friend, Ace Cutter. He was a member of the B&M Model Railroad Club in Wakefield, MA as well as The Plantation Railroad Club in Leesburg. He loved his trains and his train buddies, especially his good friend, Ed Walther. Another hobby was fast cars, over the years he enjoyed his Mustangs, T-Birds, and God Bless those 5 classic corvettes. His pride and joy was his 2017 convertible Stingray which he won The Big Kahuna trophy from the North Shore Corvette Club of MA. He loved riding around to the sounds of the Beach Boys.

A celebration of Bob's life will occur on Sunday, July 9, 2023 from noon – 3 pm at the Fraternal Order of The Eagles in Okahumpka, Florida. The family appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. The family requests that those in attendance, please bring a potluck meal or dessert.

His memory will be cherished, and his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be remembered as a devoted family man, an explorer of life's wonders, and a source of joy and laughter.
