Obituary

Robert H. Pincus (“Bob”), 79, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on May 19, 2026, surrounded by faith, family, and love.

Born on January 21, 1947, in Neptune, New Jersey, Bob grew up in Manasquan, New Jersey. He was a graduate of Manasquan High School and later attended Miami Dade College in Florida.

He was the son of the late George P. and Anne Brandt Pincus.

Throughout his life, Bob was known for his strong work ethic, dependable nature, and willingness to help others whenever he could. He began his career with Clayton Roofing and later worked for Point Pleasant Distributors before pursuing his entrepreneurial spirit and founding Pincus Construction. After moving to The Villages in 2010, Bob started his own handyman business, where he continued to put his skills and dedication to work while helping friends, neighbors, and members of the community. No matter the role, Bob took great pride in his work and valued the relationships he built along the way. His kindness, generosity, and commitment to others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him and will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Bob also enjoyed some of life's simple pleasures. He had a lifelong love of Corvettes and the beach, especially growing up in Manasquan. Both brought him great happiness throughout his life.

He was predeceased by his beloved children, William G. Pincus and Heather A. Pincus; his siblings, Richard Pincus, Carol Vola, and Nancy Wolek; and the mother of his children, Claudia Stauder Pincus.

He is survived by his children, Alison Pincus of El Segundo, California; Robert J. Pincus of Spring Lake, New Jersey; and Amanda Mikolajczak and her husband, Steven, of Bel Air, Maryland. He is also survived by his four treasured grandsons, William Truax of Yonkers, New York, and Cole, Parker, and Brody Mikolajczak of Bel Air, Maryland; his cherished sister, Patty Dahlinghaus and her husband, Robert, of Malden, Massachusetts; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bob’s life at New Life Christian Church on Monday, July 13, from 11am to 1pm, at 4701 E. CR 462, Wildwood, Florida 34785.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bob’s memory to New Life Christian Church.
