Robert Hunter Scott, Jr., died Wednesday, August 2, 2023. He was born in Hackensack, NJ on October 12, 1940, to Perrone W. and Robert H. Scott, Sr. After high school and a year in college, he joined the Army and served in Germany as an M.P. He was a Pike County, Pennsylvania Deputy Sherrif for seven years before moving to Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Finance from the University of Houston at Clear Lake City. Relocating to Ormond Beach in 1986, Bob established his own accounting and tax service firm, where he worked with and befriended many wonderful clients. He enjoyed being a Lay Reader and serving on the Vestry at St. Mary's Episcopal Church.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Arielle Schickedanz. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Sally, daughters, Sheryl Schickedanz (Bob), Dr. Bonny Olney (Clayton), and Kimberly Scott, his sister, Elizabeth Bobb (Jeff), 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
