Robert Shaffner (Bob), 82, of Port Orange, Florida passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Halifax Hospice, Edgewater. Florida. He was the husband of Kay Shaffner for 63 years and the father to Rob Shaffner of Woodbury, Minnesota and Amy Shaffner of Abingdon, Maryland. He was the proud grandfather to Mollie Coats of Nottingham, Maryland, Cole Shaffner and Evan Shaffner of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and Lilly Shaffner of Woodbury, Minnesota. He is also survived by his brother, Paul Shaffner and wife Kathleen of Port Orange, Florida. Born March 17, 1942 to Mildred and Paul Shaffner whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Edward Shaffner, of Harrisburg, PA. Before retiring to Florida, Bob was a past president of Harford County Chamber of Commerce and of Route 40 Business Association, served on Committee for Kids Can Mentoring Resource Center Network, appointed to Peoples Citizens Advisory Board and member of Small Business Resource Center of Harford County, Maryland. Was a member of the Harford County Leadership Academy.
