Robert "Max" Stuckey, 81, of Orlando, passed away at home on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, surrounded by his family. Max was born on April 23, 1933, in Rouzerville, PA. Max proudly served our country as a member of the United States Air Force and served in the Korean War. After the war, Max met and married his wife, Eleanor, of 56 years. In 1958 the young couple moved to Orlando where they made their home and raised their three children. Max retired from Lockheed Martin after 30 years of service. He was an avid lover of country and gospel music. Not only did he sing, but he loved to play the slide steel guitar as well as numerous other instruments. One of his favorite pastimes was being a member of the Steel Guitar Forum. Max attended The Aloma Church. Max is survived by his wife Eleanor, daughter Kimberly Lindgren and her husband John of Atlanta, son Troy Stuckey of Key Largo, son Jason Stuckey and his wife Shannon of Orlando, five grandchildren, Heather Thomas, Summer King, Lacey Gleason, Trent and Gavin Stuckey and nine great grandchildren, sister Charlotte Lentz of Waynesboro, sister-in-law Mary Stuckey of DeLand and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lockard and Lottie Jane Stuckey as well as four brothers, Vernon, Herman, Willard and Baby Stuckey. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ken Stutts Ministries, P.O. Box 952918, Lake Mary, FL 32795, or Hospice of the Comforter, Altamonte Springs, FL.   Memorial Services will be held at Calvary Assembly of God, 1199 Clay St., Winter Park, FL 32789, on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends to Celebrate Max's Life immediately following the service in the fellowship hall. Please feel free to wear your "Western Wear" in memory of Max. Western hats are appropriate in the fellowship hall.   A Memorial Service will also be held in Waynesboro, PA, at a later date for friends and family in Max's hometown.
