Robert Vasco
Talley
June 7, 1929 – March 26, 2018
Robert V. Talley, 88, was born in Richmond, Virginia and has been a Florida resident since 1956. He passed Monday, March 26th. He was the youngest of three children born to Dorothy and Jesse Talley. Robert was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and served his country during WW2 as a Turbo-Jet Mechanic. Upon his discharge, he worked for Southern Bell and served as a Police Officer in Daytona Beach Shores. He cherished his community and was active in the Boy Scouts, Knights of Columbus, The Elks Club and many other civic organizations. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley, his second wife, Margaret and long-time life companion, Pearl, his son, Charles and daughter, Brenda. He leaves behind his beloved children – Kathleen, Warren, Joseph, Patrice and Dorothy. He is also survived by 8 grand-children and 8 great-grand-children. Viewing will be at Our Lady of Lourdes in Daytona Beach on April 11, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
