Robert Curtis Thomas (Robo), 66, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on September 12, 2024.

Robert was born on December 2, 1958 to Lorenzo Neil Thomas Sr. and Jean Marie Thomas in Richmond VA.

A fearless person, Robert lived life in his own unique way.  Doing what he loved to do in childhood, Robert lost a leg in a motorcycle accident but he didn't let that slow him down; he was always on the go and it was very common to see him riding his bicycle up and down the streets where he lived.  Robert had a sense of humor that would often leave your sides hurting from laughter.  Even if you met him only once, his personality and unique perspective on life made sure he was not the kind of person you'd soon forget.

Robert was predeceased by his mother, Jean Thomas. He is survived by his father, Neil Thomas Sr., sisters Rebecca and Patricia Thomas, and brothers Neil and Douglas Thomas.

Services will be held at Fruitville Park on December 2 at 1 pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to [cause], an organization Robert felt strongly about.
