Robert James Walicki – age 86, of The Villages, FL passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020. Bob was born May 3, 1934 in Detroit, MI, son of the late Mary J Walicki.  He was a graduate of Murray-Wright High School, Detroit-MI, served in the United States Air Force, and was married to Jeanette Loretta (Rozenbajgier) Walicki for 56 years.

The "Wizard" was employed at Ford Motor Company for over 40 years, and following retirement worked at the TPC of Michigan for 12 years. He served as President of the Woodhaven-Brownstown, MI School District for eight years, and was a member of the City of Woodhaven Planning Committee. Bob was actively involved in the Jaycees, Kiwanis, and Salvation Army throughout his life, as well as managed/coached youth sports teams with Detroit Little Caesars Hockey, Taylor South Little League, and the City of Woodhaven. He loved sports, politics, and most of all his family.

He is survived by his wife Jeanette "Jan" and son Kevin Walter Walicki (Adrienne Durish) of Linden, MI; three grandchildren Blaike Nicole (Walicki) Copeland (husband Shane Copeland), Kevin Robert Walicki and Cooper Lee Walicki; three great-grandchildren Conner, Graeson, & Dax, and sister Joan Marie (Walicki) Szuba (husband Robert Szuba).  Bob was preceded in death by his brother Bruce Walicki
