Robert Arthur Wilkie, 65, died June 30, 2021 at his home in Rotanda West Florida.

Bob was born August 6, 1955 in Fort Wayne Indiana to Paul and Betty Wilkie.  He graduated from Ottawa Township High School in 1973 and obtained his Industrial Electrician certification from IVCC.

Bob enjoyed fishing in the canal behind the home he shared with Kathi Henneberry and sitting in his garage; greeting the neighbors as they walked by.  He was nicknamed "Garage Bob" by his friends in Florida and was always known as the guy that would do anything for anyone.  He is loved and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his sister Cyndra A. (James) Stratman of Golconda Illinois, his children Richard Paul (Melissa) Wilkie of Michigan City Indiana, and Brandy Jean (Edward) Oppenlander of Morris Illinois, his grandchildren Ayden Edward Oppenlander and Ashtyn Grace Oppenlander of Morris Illinois and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation will take place at Baldwin Brothers Cremation Society in Florida.  Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
