Obituary

Rochelle “Shellie” Lowe, aged 84, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, surrounded by her three cherished children: David, Stephanie, and Jennifer. Shellie’s life was one of love, commitment, and unwavering devotion to her family and community.

Born on November 13, 1941, in Cudahy, WI, Shellie was the daughter of Aaron Schneider and Bertha Wagon. She attended Washington High School, where she met her beloved husband, Bruce Edward Lowe. After high school, Shellie pursued higher education at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, earning her bachelor’s degree before marrying Bruce. As a devoted partner, she supported him throughout law school, during which they welcomed their first child, David Scott Lowe.

Following Bruce's graduation, the family moved to Milwaukee, where Shellie gave birth to two daughters, Stephanie and Jennifer. Throughout her life, she successfully balanced a thriving career as a real estate agent and made significant contributions to title administration within the banking industry. Shellie took immense pride in her professional journey and her role as a mother, always putting her family first.

Shellie was known for her vibrant sense of humor and her protective nature as a mother and wife. She fostered strong family bonds and enjoyed dancing, golfing, caring for her dogs, and cultivating her passion for makeup and jewelry. An enthusiastic cheerleader, she encouraged her family in all their pursuits and was always there to advocate for them.

In addition to her family commitments, Shellie was heavily involved in her community. She served as a volunteer with the Children’s Home Society in Tallahassee, FL, positively impacting many lives and leaving a lasting legacy of kindness.

Shellie is survived by her three children, David, Stephanie, and Jennifer, along with her siblings: Helene, Sandra, and Stuart. She also leaves behind her granddaughter, Mara Johnson, and her husband, Josh, as well as five beloved great-grandchildren: Blake Lynn, Josh, James, John, and Brook Lynn. She was predeceased by her husband, Bruce Edward Lowe, and her parents, Aaron and Bertha Schneider.

Memorial services for Shellie will be private, honoring her family's wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in her name to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

This tribute celebrates the life of an extraordinary woman who touched many hearts. Shellie leaves behind a profound legacy of love, dedication, and commitment to her family and community. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.
