Rodney Alan Williams, 66, of Debary, FL, passed away May 7, 2023, at Advent Health Fish Memorial and joyfully entered the presence of his Savior.
Rod was born June 19, 1956, in Bellefontaine, OH, to Jerry and Kay (McBride) Williams. He graduated from Colonial High School in Orlando, FL, and worked in the family flooring business. He married Beth Yates in 1978 and they were blessed with three children: Julie, Lori, and Steven. Rod was the Director of Field Operations for the Schrimsher Properties, which included tenant and vendor interaction as well as special projects for the partners.
Rod loved to serve others. Going the extra mile was a way of life for him. He could fix most anything and was fondly called "Mr. Solution". His excellent work ethic and character set him apart. He was a man of integrity and a faithful husband, father, and Papa. Rod loved his family dearly and most of all his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was gifted vocally and sang as a soloist, in ensembles, and in church choirs over the years. He was an active member of Crossway Church in Deltona.
Rod will be deeply missed by his wife, Beth, of 45 years; daughters Julie (Christian) Mantegna of Dacula, GA, and Lori (Justin) Green of Deltona, FL; grandchildren Ava, Eliza, Annie and Luke Mantegna, and Jace, Addison, Kinsley and Landon Green; sisters Jeri (Dave) Crawley of Osteen, FL, Becky (Mark) Meade of Mt. Airy, MD, and Stacey (Jerry) Ausherman of Siloam Springs, AR.
Rod is preceded in death by his son Steven Williams, and parents Jerry and Kay Williams.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on June 9, 2023, at Aloma Church 1815 SR-436, Winter Park, FL, 32792 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow immediately after the service in the fellowship hall.
