Rodney Don Johnson, 87, of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away on December 21, 2016 at the Halifax Health Hospice Ormond Beach Care Center. He was born on August 16, 1929 in Utica, New York to the late Merritt and Beatrice (Colgrove) Johnson. Rodney was a Veteran of the United States Army and he retired as a Teacher. He enjoyed guns and spending time with his family. He is survived by his daughter, Kristen Schaffer; his son-in-law, Dennis Schaffer; his two grandchildren Allison Davis-Lubke (Brandon) and Justin Rubner; and his great-granddaughter, Alexandra Davis-Lubke. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, Ormond Beach, Florida.
