Roger DePaepe, formerly of St. Johns, Michigan and resident of Florida, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025. He was 85 years old.

A school teacher for 31 years, Roger coached football and basketball in the St. Johns Public School system. He was a respected 7th and 8th grade boys physical education teacher and was close with many of his students, including Jeff Casler, who himself went on to become a physical education teacher.

Roger is survived by his two daughters, Angela DePaepe of Franklin, TN, and Lori Rupp, and her husband J.R. Rupp, of Davenport, FL; as well as his 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; Devin DePaepe and his wife Kate; Monica Moore; and Nicole Moore, along with her sons, Hudson and Liam. Roger was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Yvonne DePaepe, and their son David.
