Roger Joseph Hoefler Jr. (62), of Ormond Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on May 1st, 2024, bringing his earthly journey to a close. His life began on March 16th, 1962, in Oslo, Norway, where he was born to Roger J. Hoefler Sr. and Ruth Laurie.

Roger found solace and inspiration in his two passions: music and screen printing. When he wasn't jamming to RUSH, he was surrounded by loved ones, sharing his zest for life.

With pride and dedication, he served his country onboard the USS Independence, fostering lasting friendships and unforgettable experiences. Empowered by his entrepreneurial spirit, he successfully owned and operated a screen-printing company in Barberton Ohio for over two decades.

Roger was preceded in death by his father Roger J. Hoefler Sr. and mother Ruth Laurie.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, survived by his beloved wife Carol "Gene", daughters Sheila & Stacy (Byron), sons Justin & Tyler, grandchildren Caitlyn, Haley, Jordan, Kosi, Kaniyah, Bailee, Khloee and Bodhi, great-grandchildren Harlow, Holland and Holden, stepmother Sheila Hoefler, brother Ray (Norma) and many extended family and friends who will also miss him dearly.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 11:00am at PLX, 3045 Manchester Rd. Akron, OH 44319.

The Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held Friday, June 28, 2024 at 3:00pm at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754. Please arrive by 2:40pm, as the service will start at 3:00pm exactly. Pull into Lane A.
