Roger Albert Perron August 27, 1935 – May 8, 2026
Roger Albert Perron, age 90, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. Born on August 27, 1935, in Central Falls, Rhode Island, the eldest of six boys.
Roger is survived by his devoted partner in life and love, Carlene Harris; his four daughters, Andrea, Nancy, Christine, and Cindy; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. He is also survived by Carlene's daughter, Christine, and her two daughters. Roger leaves behind his brothers, Donald Perron and Gerald Perron; his sister-in-law, Pat; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his youngest daughter, April; his great-granddaughter, Lucy; and his parents, Albert and Cora Perron (née Plamondon).
Throughout his life, Roger pursued multiple careers and embraced many opportunities, but he held a profound pride in his military service as a Gun Fire Control Technician Third Class (GF3) in the United States Navy. His service to his country remained one of his most cherished accomplishments.
Roger's legacy is not measured solely by the family he leaves behind, but also by the countless lives he touched along the way. He was many things to many people.
Roger will be dearly missed by family and friends alike, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. If you prefer in lieu of flowers, we would greatly appreciate donations to Wings of Angels Ltd, a nonprofit organization Roger and Carlene proudly worked with to help provide food and support to homeless veterans, and struggling men, women, and children in Kissimmee.
Continuing to help those in need was something very close to Roger’s heart, and honoring his memory through this mission would mean so much to our family. http://wings-of-angels.com
The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers, condolences, and support. A private memorial service will be held to honor and celebrate Roger's life.
