Roger Alan Philips Jr, age 70, passed away on Sunday August 15, 2021. Roger was born on March 2, 1951 in Kansas to the late Roger Sr. and Marjorie Philips. His wife, Sandra Lee Philips, preceded him in death on July 13, 2020. They were married for 31 years. He had six children: Christine Philips, Nicole Philips, Jeanette Holmes, Del Philips, Kayla O'Sullivan, Riker Philips, and six grandchildren.

Roger graduated from Niles Township High school in Illinois. He was a retired electrician and a U.S. Marine Corp veteran based out of San Diego. He enjoyed Rock n Roll, the Beatles, camping, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

When you think of Roger, celebrate the good memories you have of him. Remember that life is fragile and short, and should be lived to the fullest.
