Roger David Scott, 96, of Ft. Myers, Florida, passed away on January 21, 2023. Roger was born on November 5, 1926, to Ola and T.T. Scott in Sumica, Florida. After graduating as a Doctor of Medicine, he began his medical practice in Ft. Myers as a general surgeon, kickstarting a 47 year career.

Roger was predeceased by his parents, his three brothers, one sister, his first wife Dorothy Roberts Scott, and eldest son, Talmage. He is survived by his children with Dorothy: David Scott, Susan (William) Mullen. He is survived by his second wife, Saundra Bayliss Scott and their children: Lara (DJ) Nurre, and Shane Scott. Grandchildren: Olivia (James) Lefko, William Mullen, Justin Mullen, Fox Oliver, Dallas Nurre and Rosemary Nurre. Great grandchildren: Leila Lefko and Noah Lefko. He is also survived by his current wife, Yvonne Kerns Scott.

Services will be held at Cypress Memorial Church on January 28th at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Golisano Children's Hospital or Hope Hospice in Ft. Myers.
