Roger Brian- loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend- died peacefully in his sleep on December 7, 2021 at the age of 79. He will be remembered for his joyful heart, kind spirit, puns, Indiana Jones hat, and crazy handshakes. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Robin; 5 children and spouses- Roger Scott & Randi Taylor, Catherine & Carmine Santa, Alexis Taylor, Lauren & Eddi Rivera, and Aaron Taylor; 6 grandchildren- Cristian, Elijah, Emily, Coralee, Esmeralda, and Carmine; and his little "squirt" (sister) Barbara Taylor Franzese.

Roger was born in The Bronx, NY, resided for most of his adult life in Newton, NJ, and moved to Ocala, FL in 2000. He earned his bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Upsala University in 1966. He enjoyed working on a variety of do-it-yourself projects, from rebuilding car transmissions to adding a new back room to his house. He also enjoyed creating vibrant pastel drawings, watching Star Trek and The Blues Brothers, and completing crossword puzzles. He had the ability to make everyone feel comfortable and loved. To know him was an honor, and to remember him brings a smile. He will be deeply missed.

Services will be held in both Florida and New Jersey. Service times and locations will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation, Interfaith of Ocala, Samaritan's Purse, or the Salvation Army.
