It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Rolland Wayne Kruger on August 7, 2026. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Born on January 23, 1938 in Kendallville, Indiana, Rolland was the cherished son of Floyd and Millicent Kruger. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife of 38 years, Carole (Gardner) Kruger, in 1996; and his second wife of 13 years, Lois (Bender) Kruger, in 2010. On November 17, 2011, Rolland married Sally (Hensch) Kruger, who survives him in The Villages, Florida.

Rolland graduated from Kendallville High School in 1956, and soon after he served his country in the US Army Reserves from 1956 – 1972 achieving the rank Staff Sergeant. His dedication to service was a testament to his strong sense of duty and love for his country.

Rolland owned a successful business Publix Oil Corporation from which he retired. In 2004, he moved to The Villages, Florida, where he enjoyed his retirement years. An avid golfer, Rolland played whenever he could and treasured the camaraderie and challenges of the game. He was also active in the American Legion and numerous clubs in The Villages.

Rolland was a devoted family man always placing his loved ones at the center of his life. He is survived by his children: Nola (Doug) Morris of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and their daughter, Aria; Kevin (Annette) Kruger of Johns Creek, Georgia, and their children, Rachel and Ross; and Parrish (Teri) Kruger of Kimmell, Indiana, and their children, Bailey, Riley, and Avery. He is also survived by his sister, Belinda (Kruger) Corps and her husband, Michael of Kendallville, Indiana and their two daughters; Kara and Kit.

A man of faith and community, Rolland was a member of the New Covenant United Methodist Church in The Villages. During his time in Indiana, he was dedicated to coaching Little League, serving on the Fairgrounds Board, and participating in the Lions Club and Jaycees. His commitment to helping others and his leadership in these organizations left a lasting impact on many.

Rolland Kruger will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, service, and community will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
