Romuald (Bunga /Ron) Haynes 1/1/1925-8/22/2018 It is with great sadness that the family of Romuald Haynes, known to friends as "Ron", announces his passing on August 22, 2018 at the age of 93. Born in Budslaw, Poland, Ron fought in World War II, serving in the Polish Army from 1939 to 1946. It was before moving to the United States in 1951, where in England, he met his beautiful wife of 66 years, Joyce. He was preceded in death by his sister, Leonarda. Romuald (Ron) is survived by his daughters, Deborah ( John) Lewandoski, Julie Anne (Nicholas) Campasano, Donna ( Kevan) Hall, and Lisa Haynes; grandchildren, Christopher Lewandoski and Nicholas (Caitlin) Campasano; and great-grandchildren, Hayden Lewandoski, Ryan Lewandoski, Emma Campasano, and Layla Campasano. Retiring in Bristol, CT in 1987 after 25 years of service at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft as a mechanic, Ron and Joyce moved to Port Orange in 1988, full-filling their life-long dream. Ron loved being with family & friends, dancing, playing music, fishing, going for long walks on the beach with Joyce, and playing cards. He was a member of Eagles, Elks, VFW. The family asks that you remember Ron for his zest in life, his joy of dancing, and his never-ending love of family & friends. That is how Ron loved to live. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 25 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Port Orange Fraternal Order of Eagles 4089, 5130 S Ridgewood Ave., Port Orange.
