Ronald Ray Brown of Orlando FL passed away in his home on July 14, 2022. He was 78 years old, born in Dayton OH. He was the son of the late Walter Brown and Deloras Brown, and the husband of the late Harvie Lynette Brown (Cornelius).
Ron grew up in Dayton, Ohio, and graduated from Fairmount High School with the class of 1961. He was formerly employed in Orlando, as a sales representative with Fuller Brush for 20+ years and then with Oreck before retiring. He built and played steel guitar and was well known in the Southern Ohio country music venue making appearances in the early 60s on the Renfro Valley Barn Dance and the Wheeling Jamboree.
He is survived by his son, James Brown of Upper Deerfield, NJ, and his wife Deborah Brown (Moore), his granddaughter Heather Varner (Brown) of Vineland, NJ, and her husband Edward Keith Varner Jr., his Great-Granddaughter Adelaide Varner of Vineland, NJ, and his sister-in-law, Judith Cornelius of Hohenwald, TN.
He will be buried in Bridgeton, NJ at Fernwood Memorial Park, along with his late wife Harvie Lynette Brown (Cornelius).
