Ronald Joseph Driscoll, 83, of Ocala, Florida, died on Tuesday, February 18, 2026, in Panama City Beach, Florida. Born January 25, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather.

Mr. Driscoll served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from 1961 to 1966, with duty stations at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina; Pensacola, Florida; and Quantico, Virginia.

Ron had a lifelong love of horses and enjoyed restoring old cars. He also loved traveling across North America in his motor home with his wife and grandchildren, making memories from state parks to national landmarks.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Driscoll of Ocala; his daughter, Dr. Lori Driscoll and her husband Shaun Saxon of Panama City Beach, FL; his son, Ronald Michael Driscoll and his wife Tammy Driscoll of Ocala, FL; and three grandchildren: Justin Driscoll of Ocala, FL; Kaitlin Driscoll of Ocala, FL; and Kyra Tonnesen and her husband Kyle Tonnesen of Madrid, Spain.

The family will honor Ron's wishes with no local funeral. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs will schedule a committal service with military honors on April 13 at Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513). Service time will be announced once arrangements are finalized, and friends are invited to attend.
