Ronald R. LaChance, 84, of the Village of Sunset Point in The Villages FL, passed peacefully on March 24 ^th at Cornerstone Hospice. He was the beloved husband of Anne (Czekalski) for 61 years.  Ron was born in Rhode Island to George and Beatrice LaChance on August 21, 1938. He graduated from St. Raphael Academy and served in the US Air Force where he trained in computer programming, later receiving a master's degree from Bryant University.   Ron's career began as the Director of the then newly founded Department of Computer Resources at the Community College of Rhode Island and Vice President of Falvey Associates, a Pawtucket based management consulting firm .  In 1984 he cofounded Aamphora Systems implementing software solutions, including the use of barcode technology.  Ron finished his career at Artech Consulting Group based in Coral Gables, Fl. Ron enjoyed golfing, biking, dancing with Anne, travel and music, be it conducting, singing or playing an instrument.  Ron is preceded in death by his parents and sister Theresa Casperson (Roy). Ron is survived by the love of his life Anne, daughters Lisa Heyl (Chris), Kerrie Peterson (John), Kristen LaChance (Emil).  Brothers Bob Lachance (Millie) and Paul LaChance (Kathy). Grandchildren, Spencer Heyl (Erin), Mackenzie Loveland (Brian), Parker Heyl, Kellan Peterson (Gabriella) and Morgan Heyl along with four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  The family is planning his internment, at a later date, at the National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.  In lieu of flowers, they ask that donations be made to www.WoundedWarriorProject.org or www.CornerstoneHospice.org
