Ronald Edward Levy 12/31/1937 – 4/17/2025 Ronald Edward Levy, affectionately known as "Buzzy," age 87 of Port Charlotte, Florida, peacefully departed this life on April 17, 2025. Born on December 31, 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of Max Charles Levy and Beatrice Friedman Levy. Ronald was predeceased by his wives, Susan (Callner) Levy and Linda Levy, his fiancée Sheila Lankin, and his daughter, Sally Levy Niehaus (Nick). He is survived by his very dear friend Rudy Berndlmaier, who stood by his side and cared for him for 20 years. As well as his brother, Charles Levy (Adele), his sister, Marilyn O'Dea (Levy), and his children: Brad Levy (Cecelia), Heidi Levy, Cathy Levy Wolfson (Rich), and Bari Levy Rubenstein. Ronald also leaves behind his stepchildren, Steven and Michael Mangione, along with seven grandchildren: Marisa Rose, Eli, Noah, Justin, Grace, Sam, and Alexis, as well as one great-grandchild, Jasper, and many cherished nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a mental health organization or programs dedicated to providing housing for individuals with severe mental illness.
