Ronald Lee Overfelt, 77, of Edgewater passed away Friday, July 13, 2012. A Life Celebration in his honor will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 10:00am at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Chapel, 1 North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach.  Family will receive friends from 9am to 10:00am.  He was born on August 21, 1934 in New Smyrna Beach to Arthur and Rena Overfelt.  He served in the Navy for 22 years.  He was commissioned on the Roosevelt and designed work communications. He worked as an Electronic Technician for the United States Postal Service in Orlando for 10 years before retiring. Ronald was a member of the Hacienda Rovers RV Club and a member of Christ Community Church in New Smyrna Beach. He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy; five children Terry L Horvath, James C Oakley, Christopher L Oakley, Ronald L  Overfelt, Brenda L Caldwell; brothers Donald L Overfelt (twin), Arthur E Overfelt; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.   Life Celebration will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 18 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place. Entombment will be at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 9am to 10:00am.
