Ronald W. Owen, age 80 of Ocala, FL passed away on July 24, 2020. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Barbara (Moffett) Owen, and his children Ronald R. (Denise) Owen, Tammy (Jonathan deceased) Maar, Tracy  (Patrick) Evanchik, and Debbie (Lisa) Mickle.  He is survived by 10 grandchildren, Christopher Gonzalez, Danielle Yager, Logan (Tori) Maar, Sean Maar, Derek Owen, Richelle (Gregory) Hartranft, Victoria and Olivia Towndrow, Samantha and Eric Mickle, and 4 Great grandchildren as well as his uncle, Merrick Owen,  a niece and 2 nephews.

Ronald was predeceased by his daughter, Kim Gonzalez, his parents, Elmer and Florence (Seeley) Owen, and his brother Alan (Elizabeth Greer) Owen.

Ronald grew up in Liverpool, NY, owned his own Mobil gas station, drove tractor trailer, sold auto parts and finally joined the Oswego County NY Sheriff's Department as a Corrections Officer, from which he retired and moved from Mexico, NY to Ocala, FL in 2005.

Ronald was a US Army veteran.  He was a lifetime member of BPOE 2348 Of Liverpool, NY, and a member of Hiram Lodge #144 F&AM in Oswego, NY.  He was also a member of FOP #145 in Ocala, FL.  Ronald was an avid golfer and was a member of the Ocala Palms Worship Community.
