Obituary

Ronald (Ronnie) Ernest Pincus, a proud veteran of the Armed Forces, passed away May 30th, 2024 at 10:45am. Son of Philip Felix Pincus and Mary Pincus, He was born July 27th, 1935 at Boro Park Maternity Hospital and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. At the age of 19, Ronnie enlisted in the Army Corps. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of Private. As part of this service, he served during the Korean Conflict and earned the "Good Conduct" medal. He started a successful transportation service, Ronnie's Taxi, in the early 1970's and sold the business when deciding to retire to Florida in 1991. Not letting go of his New York work ethic, Ronnie started an exclusive chauffeur service to and from the airports until 2024.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Hellen June Whitby; children, Jeffrey Alan Pincus, Pamela Cherie Pincus and Shari Jo McGonnigal; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

His loved ones will remember his sense of humor, love for cars, food and his Australian Shepard, Avery. A service honoring the life of Ronald Pincus, will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery on a day/time TBA.
