Obituary

Ronald William "Ron" Rattigan, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026.

Born on December 8, 1939, in Manhattan, New York, Ron was the son of William Rattigan and Genevieve Skoblicki. He was raised with strong values of family, service, and dedication that would guide him throughout his life. Ron graduated from Fordham University, Class of 1961, beginning a lifelong commitment to hard work and integrity.

Following his graduation, Ron proudly served his country in the United States Army from August 1961 to May 1969. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain in the Ordnance Corps, a testament to his leadership and sense of duty.

On July 3, 1971, Ron married the love of his life, Carol. Together they built a marriage spanning 55 years, rooted in love, partnership, and shared joy. Ron went on to build a successful career in sales, later dedicating his time to assisting the Evesham Township Schools, where he continued to make a positive impact on his community.

Above all, Ron was a family man. He took great pride in all of their lives. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol; his four children; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, all of whom were the center of his world. He was deeply loved and will be remembered for his kindness, steady presence, and unwavering devotion to those closest to him.

Ron found great joy in traveling with his family, especially visiting national and state parks, cruising, and creating cherished memories on trips to Disney with as many generations of loved ones as could join. These moments reflected his greatest happiness-being surrounded by family.

He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him, especially those who had the privilege of calling him family.
