Obituary

Ronald ("Ron") John Rynkowski was taken home with Jesus on Friday, June 27, 2025.  Ron was born to the late Walter Rynkowski and Kate Rynkowski in Ozone Park, New York on November 17, 1943.  He served with the United States Navy on the USS Henry W. Tucker, and was a Vietnam Veteran.  After his service to our country, Ron worked for the Long Island Railroad in New York for 31 years before moving to Ocala, Florida.

Ron was a member of the American Legion, Moose, and VFW.  In his retirement years, Ron enjoyed golfing, bowling, and singing karaoke.  He also loved traveling and sightseeing.  Ron had a big heart for others, and he could always make you smile.

Along with his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his two brothers, Chester and Eugene Rynkowski.

Left to cherish the memory of Ron are his loving wife, Gloria, and his children, grandchildren, and niece.

A celebration of Ron's life will be held at the Meadowbrook Church located at 4741 SW 20th Street, Ocala, Florida on Thursday, July 17 at 11:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Marion County ( www.hospiceofmarion.org ).
