Ronald Earl Walters, affectionately known as "Ronny," passed away on July 7, 2026, at the age of 66.

Born in Charleston, West Virginia, Ronny later moved with his family to Daytona Beach, Florida, in the mid-1960s. He attended Seabreeze High School and later earned his GED. During his younger years, he enjoyed playing Little League baseball, but music became the defining passion of his life. A gifted drummer, Ronny spent his life behind the drum set, performing with numerous musicians throughout the years. Whether performing on stage or sharing music with friends and family, drumming was more than a hobby—it was a lifelong passion that brought him joy and connected him with countless people.

Ronny will be remembered for his love of music, his unique spirit, and the memories he shared with family and friends. While music was his lifelong passion, his daughter and grandchildren were the center of his world. He loved them beyond measure, and they were his greatest pride and joy.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Marie Walters; his sister, Angie Dawn Walters Fisher (Don); his nephew, Barry Michael Walters; his daughter, Kayla Marie Shaw (Ian); and his beloved grandchildren, Brayden, Blake, Leia, and Greyson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Louis Walters, and his brother, Robert Victor Walters.

Ronny's memory will live on through the music he loved, the stories shared by family and friends, and the countless lives he touched along the way. Though he is no longer with us, his rhythm will continue to echo in the hearts of those who loved him.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ronny's life on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society – Ormond Beach 1185 W. Granada Blvd., Suite 11, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. Visitation and Gathering will begin at 11:00 a.m., and the Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m.
