Obituary

After a long and courageous fight with cancer, Dr.Ronald Joseph Wyles passed away peacefully at his home in the Villages, Florida, on March 19, 2018, at the age of 80. Ron will forever be remembered by his wife, Regina, of 55 years, and their three children. Ron was best known for his 38 year dermatology practice in Virginia Beach, VA, but he was also a Navy veteran, a driving force behind the Holy Family Catholic Church, and a Professor of Dermatology.

Ron graduated from Hiram College in 1959, and then went on to attend Case Western Reserve School of Medicine. In retirement, his love of golf and photography brought him from Virginia Beach, VA to The Villages, FL.

He is survived by his wife, Regina Ryan Wyles: his children, Michael Wyles(and his wife Michelle, and children Haley, and Carlie)in Virginia Beach, VA, Kimberly Wyles (and her husband Manuel, and children Alayna, Bryce, and Tamarin) in Charlotte, NC, and Brian Wyles (and his wife Stephanie, and children Tucker, Haven, and Tia) in Sarasota, FL. He is also survived by his brother Gordon Wyles (and wife Nancy) of Canal Fulton, OH, his mother-in-law Mary Schryver in Sarasota, FL, his brothers-in-law: Richard Ryan (and wife Jan) in Boca Grande, FL, James Ryan (and his wife Cindy) in Rancho Mirage, CA, Kevin Ryan (and wife Elaine) in Monument Beach, MA, and sisters-in-law: Carole Sclafani in Medford, NJ, and Pattie Steigerwald (and husband John) in Cary, NC.

There will be a memorial service honoring Dr. Ronald Wyles on March 28, 2018 at 8:30 am at St. Timothy Catholic Church in The Villages, FL.

A funeral service will also be held for Ron on April 7, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Virginia Beach, VA.
